About Ariana

Hello! I’m Ariana Taylor. I have been providing private lessons within the Peoria & Glendale, Arizona area since 2013. I started taking piano lessons 15 years ago and completed about 8 years of private piano instruction. I also have about 9 years of various piano accompaniment experience for choirs and solo singers/instruments through my church.

I also enjoyed taking lessons in other various instruments throughout my later elementary and high school years to expand my musical skills. These instruments included Alto and Tenor Saxophone, Bass Clarinet, and Clarinet. Throughout all four of my high school years, I marched Tenor Saxophone in the award winning PHS Panther Pride Marching Band. I also have 3 years of experience as one of the saxophone section leaders at Peoria High School, where I helped my peers play the saxophone, learn the show music and reach their best potential.

I also was an Allstate level musician for 3 years on Bass Clarinet throughout high school. This is a program, run by the Arizona Music Educators Association (AMEA), where High school students prepare and audition competitively with other high school musicians to form an ensemble out of the top musicians in Arizona. I spent countless hours in private lessons and practice preparing for these auditions and really developed my musicianship through this process.

I was extremely honored to receive the John Philip Sousa Award- an award that recognizes superior musicianship and outstanding dedication- my Senior year in High School. This award has been given to one student within each high school's band program since 1955.

Currently, I continue to expand my skills by playing regularly for my church's congregation church and by playing Bass Clarinet in the Glendale Community College Community Band.
